The Winterpark Fraser Valley Rotary Club has adopted a
Stretch of CDOT highway between Tabernash & Fraser!


Each Club Member has been assigned to a team leader which lead one of 4 groups. See below for what
group you are in--or call our Club's Highway Clean-up coordinator Tom Goulette 970-531-1284 for help.

General Instructions..

- Team Leaders please Pick up orange trash bags and vests a Club Meeting.
- Team Members please talk to your Group Leader by phone or email
- Choose your groups time and date..
- Drive to the start of the section of highway for your group.. (there are a couple of spots to park safely)

Starting Locations for each team..

Team 1 - If your l
ast name starts w/A thru D
Begin at milepost 224 (by the bridge leading to Tabernash) and pick up trash for the ½ mile south
along the east side of highway 40, then crosses over and goes back north on the west side of 40.

Team 2 -
If your last name starts w/E thru K
Begin ½ mile south of milepost 224. (It will be marked w/white paint on the shoulder) Pick up
trash ½ mile south to milepost 225 on the east side of 40, then cross over and
pick up trash northward back to milepost 225 on the west side of 40.

Team 3 -
If your last name starts w/L thru Q
Begin at milepost 225 and pick up trash
½ mile south on the east side of Highway 40,
then cross over and go back north for ½ mile on the west side of 40.

Team 4 -
If your last name starts w/R thru Z
Begin ½ mile past milepost 225. (It will be marked w/white paint on the shoulder)
Pick up trash ½ mile south of milepost 226 on the east side of the highway, then cross
over and go back north on the west side.

Other details..
Do not fill bags more than about ½ full.
Leave them along the side of the highway and tie them closed.
CDOT will pick them up once they are notified.

has complete your section of highway.
