The Winter Park-Fraser Valley Rotary Club wishes to announce
our 2nd Annual "Service Above Self" Award Banquet 
& Charter Anniversary Dinner Celebration!
Saturday Evening April 12th 2008, 6:30 PM
at Beaver Village Lodge in Winter Park


The Winter Park-Fraser Valley (WPFV) Rotary is enjoying our 2nd Anniversary as a Chartered Rotary Club and also the last Weekend of the Winter Park Resort's ski season and we'd like you to join us for Dinner to celebrate! 

The banquet will start at 6:30 PM and is $30 per person at the door.  Please join us to share in the festivities at Beaver Village Lodge in Winter Park.  For driving directions to Beaver Village Lodge click here..

Please note that the evening will include the presentation of the WPFV Rotary Club’s Dr. Michael Muftic "Service Above Self" Award. This years recipient will be Mark Johnson a long time valley resident whose unselfish accomplishments are to numerous to list. 

The WPFV Rotary Club will be host to a GSE** team from Germany that is visiting Club's in our District.  The team will be paired with professional from around the valley the day before and will join us Saturday evening for our dinner event as well.

** FYI the Group Study Exchange (GSE) mentioned above is from a program of The Rotary Foundation, It is a unique cultural and vocational exchange program for young business and professional men and women between the ages of 25 and 40 and in the early years of their professional lives. The program provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits between paired areas in different countries. For four to six weeks, team members experience the host country's institutions and ways of life, observe their own vocations as practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships, and exchange ideas.
