More
about The Winter Park-Fraser Club's not for profit Foundation
The
recently formed Winter Park-Fraser Valley Rotary Club has established
the Winter Park-Fraser Valley Rotary Foundation, a 501(C) (3)
charitable foundation. The purpose of this foundation is to
support causes locally and internationally. This
allows people to contribute to various projects with a tax-deductible
donation. In the short time of its existence, the club has
received donations directed at such projects as the Eisenhower statue,
the Ecuador school, The Library, our Health Fair,
Dictionary’s for third graders and Hunger Plus, to name a few. The
foundation has also received unspecific gifts to the foundation,
memorial donations, and has two Winter Park-Fraser Valley Rotary
Foundation Fellows. To become a Fellow, one must donate at
least $1,000.00. They are Steve Radcliffe and Mark Lund. One
of the goals is to establish an endowment fund with the interest going
to fund local scholarships. Mark
Johnson is Chairman and Stan Meyer is President of the
Foundation. Donations can be made to: Winter
